I have a P4 2.2ghz with 512 mb and a 16x dvd rom and my rip times can take anywhere between 40 to 75 minutes. I've seen other people talk about rip times that are way faster then this. I am using dvd shrink 2.3. I recently upgraded to USB 2. and my burning time has gone way down and the dvd has no glitches at all. I am using an external burner. If anyone can help with the ripping time,that would be great. Thanks.

I forgot to mention that before i formated my laptop the ripping speeds where much faster. Do i need to update the driver or something. I saw on my system specs that it is a Toshiba sd-r2312.
