As long as it's a PCI-E x16 card, then yes it will work. The nVidia chipset has nothing to do with it.

As to which card is better, I don't know. If i were you I'd try to find some reviews on Anandtech or similar and compare the benchmark results.

The 7600GT will be much faster. Faster clock speeds, more horsepower. And no, the chipset on your motherboard will not matter for your video card.

@skyline: If you are going to take advantage of the SLI, with two video cards, the ATI won't work.

The motherboard will allow use of one ATI card, but if you want to put in two, you have to put in NVidia PCIe video cards, I think.

I would get a different one. It comes with passive cooling so they lowered the clocks.
