Liteon DD A110 recording problems

I have recently purchased a Liteon DD A110 DVD recorder and whilst it recorded the first couple of times, I have not been able to record since. Everytime I put in a blank +RW disc in, it starts a preperation run, then when I press record it says "Protected content". I have baught a number of new discs but none are working. Any help gratefully received.
