No Sound after TMPGenc/TMPGenc DVD Author encoding

I successfully converted an .avi file to dvd format using TMPGenc. Then, I used TMPGenc DVD Author to make the VOB and necessary files. Finally, I burned the files using Nero 6. Pop it into the DVD player....video is great, no sound at all. I ran back to my comp and ran the VOB files (that I had just burned) with WinDVD 5 Platinum, and the sound was there just fine.......soooo...where did the sound go, and how do I burn it successfully to the dvd with the video? Thanks for any help I get...
