ISP suspended my account

I have Cox Highspeed Cable as ISP and use Azureus as torrent software. I was caught because Cox stated I was sharing copyrighted material. Now I am nervous. They reinstated my account, but warned me that they will be less lenient with repeated offenses. Needless to say, I don?t want to be caught again, but I am hooked on P2P. In the past I used IRC and Usenet, but the torrent network is far superior when it comes to selection.
I thought of 2 possible fixes:
1) Could I set the allowed upload speed on Azureus to 0 kb/sec and basically stop uploads that apparently catches most if not all of the attention?
2) Could I still use Limewire and disable sharing (set to 0 uploads)?

I know this defeats the purpose of a P2P network, but I am chased by ?The Man?.

And STOP USING LIMEWIRE.
Either get Frostwire, or stop using those silly P2P networks.
And switch ISP's when you get the chance, Cox seems to be good friends with the RIAA and MPAA.
