hi guys & gals
sometimes after i have burned a dvd in the above program it will not read in any dvd player not even the writer it was burned on
when i flip the dvd over i noticed that the inner ring thats not burned is larger than normal as if it has not burned the first little bit the ring is nornally about 3-4mm of unburned disc on a failed disc its around 5 mm has anyone else had this problem i would be most gratefulfor any ideas thanks

What is it that you're burning? An AVI file, or are you trying to backup a dvd? Also, what media are you using? What speed are you burning your dvds?

hi
i am recording a program off the tv to my Wharfedale DVDRDHD400
DVD Recorder With 80Gig Hd

i then copy the recording to a DVD+RW
i then import the recording off the DVD+RW into TSUNAMI MPEG DVD AUTHOR PRO V 2.1.5.77 via the wizard
ithen edit to remove adverts etc put in a menu if req
and then burn the dvd at 4X i never burn any higher than 4X
i also make sure the green bar never goes past the 4.7GB Mark or if i do its very very slight (never had any problems before )
the dvd's i use are RiDisc DVD-R 4X printable RITEKGO4 2X4
