Cant burn to DVD-R with Nero

I have been burning to these Sony DVD-Rs for over a month. All of a sudden I keep getting an error when Nero tries to burn to them. I have updated the firmware on my burner. I have tried using the burner with my desktop and my laptop and get the same results. I have Nero 6 on my laptop and the most recent version of Nero 7 on my desktop. I'm having the same problem. I've been using Sony DVD-Rs for a while and all of a sudden it stops working. For me, it will start burning and get pretty far, and then say there was a burn error. It doesn't seem like it's my drive 'cause I expect it not to burn at all.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Nero, and that helped for a few DVDs and then stopped working again.
