ok i just ripped out the .DAT file from a VCD and saved it as a .mpg... using this guide... http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=141726

now when i go to Nero, and slect "video CD" and then add this .mpg that i ripped, it says its to big and that problems may occur when burning!!!!

what shall i do? the .mpg i ripped out is 790mb!!!

why don't you just put it on a dvd? or you could split the file and put it on two cd's, there are a few video splitters out there, but if the quailty is good enough i would put it on a dvd.

what was the size of the dat file before you converted it? and what was the size of the mpeg file after you converted? the file will get bigger when you convert from dat to mpg, i guess you could convert it to dvid or XviD, or AVI, to make smaller
