l have some photos on my computer which are black and white, is there any software that l can use to make them colour.

remember it can not add color if no color is in the pix,
those can paint the colors in..called touch up painting

photoshop cs2 and cs3

microsoft digital 11
and gump which is free..

If you don't have a copy of the pics in color, there are tools withing Gimp & Photoshop can help with adding color, but at best you will get a very substandard picture. My advice is to just keep them in B&W, and remember to always shoot in color - you can desaturate on a computer but can't go the other way!
