new modem comes with recurring error when surfing

hi
I just bought a 2wire 2700hg modem yesterday and am using it with my DSL service. I can surf on the internet but occasionally (like every half an hour or so) I get this error:

Success Resolution Successful
The error has been successfully resolved. Please close down your browser and restart it to continue browsing online.

I am using mozilla Firefox, and i get this on all 3 computers (connected by wire. not using wireless connection). I'd rather get a new modem if i can't fix this annoyance.

It's a modem problem. It happens a lot with 2 wire modems. If your browser is set up to use proxy server, uncheck it.
