ok i have a 60 gig ipod photo and when i try to put my library on it it says "This Ipod "...." cannot be updated. The nessesary file need to update is missing." or something along those lines. what the hell can i do? this is the second ipod ive had thats done this, i sent my last on to the circuit city protection plan thingy. and well im slowly becoming aware that it was a waste of money. but anyways can someone help me?

Try restoring the iPod back to factory settings. This should restore the file that you may have accidentaly deleted needed to update.
