Burn Failed..please help!

hi guys..i´m having this weird problem with my Nero burning rom..i´m doing a backup of my AVI files to free up some space in my external hdd but always failed to burn in Nero..i´ve been using Nero for such a long time now and it´s only now that this problem occured..i used different media to burn my files hoping that the problem was with the DVDR that i´m using but the results are the same! here´s my log:

hi gwendolin..thanks so much for the quick response and im sorry for my late reply..i did everything that you told me to do..updated my Nero,uninstalled roxio,slow my burning speed to 4x, and did nothing else on my pc but burn; but to no avail..i got a different error though..here´s my new log:

i´m sure you noticed that i have another dvd-rom which is a philips SPD3200L1..and when i use it to burn my files..it´s doin´perfectly ok so i guess the problem is with the Matshita drive that comes with my vaio..i´ve read some forums about this drive and most..if not all of them are having the same problem as i am..and some of them says that this brand and model really sucks!! i wonder what the heck can i do with it..any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
