I know this a stupid question, but for some random reason that I don't know of, my DS D-pad buttons are screwed up, everytime I press the down D-pad button, it gets stuck and can only be unpressed if I press the up D-pad button or something, this same thing happens with the both left and right D-pad buttons also, I seriously need help...my parents said they won't buy me a new DS...

Rabid wolverine?

In all seriousness, take the toothpick method, but soak the crap out of it in 90% or better isopropyl alcohol (the higher the better, you want it to evaporate without leaving water behind to do damage) first (the toothpick not the ds). Also, alcohol is electronics friendly, so don't be shy about cleaning the whole system with it.

Every night has its day.
Even forever must come to an end....
I think.

I dont know what to do about the D-pad (maybe you could get a tri wing screw driver, take the casing off of the DS and clean it directly) but for the L and R buttons, all you really need to do is put your mouth around it and blow hard

X2 3800, A8n deluxe motherboard, 7800GT, Xion 2 case
2GB Patriot DDR 400, Audigy 2 ZS gamer, 400GB SATA RAID 0
games Im looking forward to: bioshock, SSBB, enemy territory quake wars, halo 3
currently playing: command and conquer 3, supreme commander, counter strike, shivering isles
