I recently lost my hard drive and had to replace it with a new drive and reinstall Windows Me and all my programs. For two weeks before this change, Ulead DVD Movie Factory (trial) worked great. Now if always gives "Load MPEG vio Driver Error" upon starting up and says something about DVDplugin.ini.

I really want to use it in the future but I don't want to buy it if the licensed version won't run either. Any one have any ideas?

I think I fixed the problem.



I'm running Windows Me. Here's what I did:

I deleted all the info in the registry containing "ulead" with regedit.exe. Then I deleted the config.sys and autoexec.bat. I ran SCANREGW.EXE /FIX and SCANREGW.EXE /OPT. Then after reinstalling ulead moviefactory it works.
