Which is better? I want a device which will let me customize the skins and is compatible with moonshell. These two devices both allow you to play videos and have ROM support if I remember correctly. Do they both have a way of updating the version or something?
Need some advice on which to get...
Both are just about identical (pick your favorite color, black or white).

Not only are both skinnable but both use the same skin format (meaning they're interchangable).

Yes, and yes. Videos in DPG format, roms are obvious, as what good would a ds flash cart be that didn't play games.

Yes, the "firmware" for each is just something you put on your microsd card that goes into it, both downloadable in multiple locations, although from what I've gathered the R4DS "firmware" is updated quicker usually.
