So I'm replacing the battery of my 30gb video ipod and the process is going well enough. I remove the back cover and accidentally turn the portion with the motherboard upside-down. to my surprise the ribbon falls out along with the little connector piece. I assume thats a bad thing because that piece is never supposed to come out. There was no strain on the ribbon so I thing the part had just jarred loose causing the problems with my pod. Any suggestions on how to reattach the female port for the power ribbon back onto the motherboard?
