I've been burning iso's to dvds and i have only burnt 3 of them, and they are playable and i recently downloaded counterstrike and burned it to a dvd. (iso file) and then put it in my xbox, and it says initiating at the top right (on the evox dash) and then later says GAME, so i click start game/movie from dvd and it starts and shows the EVOLUTIONX green thing, and then goes back to the dashboard. any help?

could be the ISO your downloaded, could be that you need to clean out your Cache folder as well.
hard to tell sometimes why. But i have that game so i know it should work fine.

how do you clean out your cache folder? i cant FTP my xbox

well, if you have a dashboard with a file browser on it you can just manually delete them without FTP. Just do a search and it should tell you which folder to delete the items from to clean the cache

i dont know if i have a file browser. and i realized that all my working games on dvd's are burnt to a certain dvd. and the other dvd's i use dont work. what dvds do yo use

Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD-R Silver Thermal Laquer discs.
best disc on the market. Next best would be Verbatim.
