Hi im useing rogers cable in canada

and in also useing a linksys router
i have slow upload speeds and download speeds !!
i have forwarded port and i have limited my upload speeds
but no matter how many seeds the max speed i get in bittorrent is 100kb/s and in emule the download never starts
the max upload speed i get is 5kb/s!!!!!!
what can i do????
im useing utorrent
global max connections:300
number of upload slots per torrent:4
max number of connections per torrent:250
why is my upload speeds so slow and download speeds slow too?

Slow down there, 100kbs for bit torrent is fast. But its unusual that they never exceed 100kbs. Try temporarily disabling your firewall and changing your ports for BT to something away from the 6881-6999 range. Could be getting capped.

yes i know rogers suck but i cant switch an isp now

Not that I know of but some at that forum report success with port 1720 or 5695, not all though. Same with: http://www.secureix.com/ You can also try overnight.
