Here's my network setup:

Computer 1 is operateing 2 NIC cards, one of them is the built in one which the internet is plugged into, it is basicly serveing as the modem. The 2nd one runs to the internet port on the router. This computer has no problem running bittorrent or p2p programs.

Computer 2 is only operating its built in NIC card, it is plugged in to the first port on the router.

Now that you understand the setup, heres my problem: When ever I run a bittorrent or other p2p program the internet goes down on computer 2 for some time. I've tried forwarding the ports that I selected for use with the programs, but it doesn't work.

I would appreciate any help in getting them to work.

Things I've tried:
Pluging the internet into the router then hooking the 2 computers to it. (No Internet on both computers)
Forwarding selected ports to computer 2 (Internet still goes down)
Makeing Computer 2 a DMZ (Internet still goes down)

A few p2p programs work, such as blizzard downloader, for my WoW updates, but Azureas, BitComet, and Limewire crash my internet for Computer 2.
