my version is latest 6.1.3.6. I can't decrypt any new sony dvds like pursuit of happyness, curse of the golden flower, casino royale, open season. any alternatives (not including buying the movies).
DVD FAB worked with all these movies. The latest version of ripit4me if you can still find it might be able handle the issue. However i personally can attest to DVD FAB then over to shrink for Casino Roy. Im sure you mean your backing up your dvds by the way. PIracy = bad= possible banning. I know your knew. I was once too.
Anydvd plus CloneDVD is great. It costs money though. However generally its the mack daddy. For DVD FAB Decryptor just do a search.

I haven't had AnyDVD fail to decrypt anything that I've thrown at it thus far, including Casino Royale and Pursuit of Happiness. Haven't made backups of the others on your list yet.
Mine is only version 6.1.3.3, though. They update the program so often that I only bother downloading the updates once a month or so.
