Hey guys, every time I keep trying to burn a movie onto a DVD+RW it keeps saying Unspecified Target Error. It doesnt even burn anything. It just comes up after couple seconds. Then says Burn process failed. Here is the log from it. If anyone can help that would be great.

Hi danmay86
1st let's edit out the serial # - top of log and begins w/ 1A.

Have you tried burning w/ - or + R media instead of RW media?

For the RW's you are using have they been written to before? Try doing a full erase if they have or use one that hasn't been written to before.

86% of your memory is in use. So no multi tasking and close any unneeded programs.

whats the best software to do a full erase? cause Nero is poo. it either comes up with an error or when it does actually start to erase the disc, it just keeps on going and doesnt stop. the minutes just keep going. then it just freezes when you try n stop it.

hi :)
i use +rw most of the time compiling and re-authoring. your using the best. Verbatim. i've lost count of how many times i've erased them (scratches and all) and they still produce the works.
i use good old faithful DvdDecrypter and on occasion Imgburn to erase (quick or full). the only thing i find with Imgburn is it nearly always says the disc needs formating (which is a form off erasing i suppose, seems to take for ever though)

oops! me bad. hi Karen X

I use all 3 programs to erase RW discs - just depends.
Here's link for ImgBurn and decrypter.
If your getting errors doing an erase there may be a problem with the disc.

Try one that hasn't been written to yet.
