Verbatim and HP DVD-R's won't burn

I've tryed to burn with both of these and i get the error "ilegal disc". Here is the log for the Verbatim discs:

Hi zerofire
Update the firmware to MYR6.
Nero can use an update too - quite a few fixes and enhancements since the version you're using. The latest is 7.8.5.0.
Physical memory : 510MB
Free physical memory: 66MB
Memory in use : 86 %
Quite a bit memory in use. So no multi tasking and close any unneeded programs.
Burn process failed at 16x
Take the burn speed down to 8x.
File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS'
Nero and Roxio don't always play well so if the above falls uninstall Roxio and run the zap tool
Give that a go and let us know.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I was busy burning DVD's. I can't thank you enough. It turned out that Roxio was causing a confict on all of my burning programs. Thank you.
