I cant seem get good quality copy rips from #1 Dvd Ripper and Imtoo dvd ripper, could this be needing different codecs or something else ?

Also what is the best dvd ripper for when you want to watch on your computer ?

You're asking 2 questions here.

The ripping software either works or it doesn't. It doesn't degrade the video. Makes no difference as to "what is the best dvd ripper for watching on your computer".

As for a ripping program, try DVD Fab Decrypter.
