burning fails at 1%??

iv used Nero for a LONG time to burn my dvds and cds. but now when i tried to burn some files onto a dvd disk, it starts for like 30 seconds and then the burning fails at 1% because of an "unrecoverable read error"?? iv wasted over 10 disks just over this error!! im sure nothings wrong with the files since iv burnt a disk of it just b4 this error came up and nothing seems to be wrong with its. iv tried cleaning the disks and setting the speeds,but that didnt work...
could someone plz help me heres??

i have the same problem i dont know whats wrong and i was helped by someone here on my Nero and that person help me alot but after a couple of time i used Nero today i had an error 1% and it gives me error can someone help me how to fixit.ive been trying to burn the whole week now and i cant do anything i wasted alot of blanks and i dont want to waste anymore.pls help me i am getting frustratd coz of this.i will post a log here incase someone here will help me

the only thing i can suggest is try verbatims or Taiyo Yudens
Ritek media is better than CMC but not the best in terms of compatibility.
have you tried say IMGburn to see if Nero is the problem?
