I've had this machine for about four months. On four occasions over the last week when I have set the timer to record TV programs(to the HDD) it has started and finished recording at the correct time. However, when I checked the library of recorded shows, there was nothing where the recently recorded item should be.

On checking the recording "log", the status showed as "Failure, failed to complete". Does anyone know why the recordings would fail? The manual does not give any indication as to why failures occur. It is a real pain, as you don't know if a problem has occurred with the recording until after the fact.

There is plenty of room left on the HD, so space is not an issue.
