The discs are NOT scratched.
I've tried Slysoft AnyDVD, DVDFab, RipIt4Me etc & none of them work.
I'd like to repair the DVD so I can copy/decrypt it (I tried FixVTS, but that doesn't seem to work on discs, only files already on your computer- I may be wrong).
What media did you use? That can make a big diff.
Been there done that with poorer quality media that had started to go south. CRC errors.
Players are more forgiving then when trying to rip. If they get bad enuf then you will have playback problems. Ripping tries to rip every byte where are player may just skip over w/o you noticing.
If you have another drive try that one - some are better than others at ripping these discs.
If the firmware isn't up to date - up date it.
You can also try IsoBuster.
It will insert a dummy cell when it hits a bad spot if you choose yes. But if you get too many of these in a row may not be worth it - will affect the playback.
IsoBuster is shareware but has free functionality. Would be able to do what you need.
The license you can buy just unlocks more functionality - but so far the free functionality is all I've needed.
