My DVD Drive turned into a CD drive!

today I tried to make a backup of a dvd in nero, but it said that the disc did not have sufficient space on it. I put another brand new dvd-r in the drive and it was the same thing. When I look in 'My Computer' "it says DVD-RW Drive" when there is no disc inserted. When I put a blank dvd inside it says "CD Drive". What is going on? Can someone please help me? I'm using a Sony DW-U10 that has been flashed to a Sony DRU-500A. ---------Guys Nevermind, I fixed it. Thanks anyway
