100% successful burn...playback nothing

Hi,

My Nero was working fine a couple of weeks ago, but for some reason now when I burn a data dvd the burn says it went successful and everything, but then when I put the dvd in my drive it doesnt pick up anything.

However on the actual disk itself there are 2 circles on it...a larger one round the outside and a much smaller one round the inside.

On another PC, when I actually got the dvd to run..it was a movie...n it would only play about 15mins of it and then crash...

SO in conclusion...

If anyone has ANY ideas on what might be the problem please let me know!!

PS: I dont think it has anything to do with the actual dvd disks, even though it is magmedia....previous times these disks HAVE worked, and the same problem occured on a TDK DVD-RW disk

Post the log from one of these burns (remove the serial number near the top of the log).

Thats the thing...the was no error..it said it had burnt it successfully...

however with a DVD-RW there was an error towards the end, didnt save the log tho :(

nero recognized it as a BLANK DVD-R....so it wouldnt let me erase it =/

Was Nero 7 was around in 2004?

Firmware latest is 1.22, you are 1.18

This log shows burning speed as 8x and the media as JVC.
Try Verbatim at 4x.

get an error msg when i go to upgrare the firmware...

'the firmware of target drive is not correct F/W. this firmware is not supported by this program'
