A Quick Question About R4DS

I'm looking to buy an r4ds off ebay. But the picture of the r4's accesories look different than the one's shown on r4's website.
For example the usb adapter for the micro SD card is white, instead of orange. And the case for the r4 looks light blue instead of purple. Do You think it's fake? or is it just a different model than the one shown on r4's website?

why not just get it from a store and not ebay? Its only 40 dollars with a 1 gig card :)

:O are You kidding me? what stores? I only checked divineo for price comparison, and they are selling ir for $45 without the 1 gig memory card.
You just might end up saving me a small fortune, thanks man :)
Edit: I've looked through all of the licensed resellers listed on r4's website. And the cheapest one I could find was Vulcanzone. They have it for 39.99 with free shipping. But it doesn't come with an SD card. Are You sure there is a place selling it for 39.99 WITH an sd card?
Edit 2: I think I have found the website YOu were talking about "dealextreme" right? are they reputable?

Cant beat the price, its definetely the real deal, but be warned with the shipping, it usually takes 15 days.

I bought mine from dealextreme without the card and mine was black (but the site said colours vary). It took about a week and a half to ship to Canada with the $1 shipping. It was really one of the best purchases I ever made especially when I traded in all my games for more than I paid for the card ;)

for the people who bought R4 from extremedeal, did they ship it to your mailbox or u have to sign ur name when the packet arrived? cuz i ordered mine and i paid an extra 16.50 for the EMS shipping. thanks for the people who reply..

Mine came certified, so the doorman held it even though they are supposed to not accept certified packages (cause certified usually means lawsuit :P)

ok, i am confused now. why are some of them stuffed in the mailbox, while some are being certified?? i honestly want them to put it in my mailbox, since it is more convenience for me. btw they dont deliver on weekend do they? the EMS shipping.

In Canada if you are not there to wait around they leave a card at your door you take to the post office, then you have like 2 weeks to pick it up and you sign there.
So you really don't have to wait around if you can pick it up later

I've got a question about the R4 as well? I bought one, and I'm waiting for it to come, and I just read off of the R4DS website, that you don't have to get a different firmware or anything to use it! Well, will it still work if you have a DS that has a different firmware? I used to have the M3 DS Lite thing, and you had to install a different firmware, and that broke, so I still have that hacked firmware on it! So, I just wanted to know if the R4 will still work on my DS? Thanks!

R4 will work with flashme'd DS lites. I suggest you update your firmware to flashme v8.2 when you get your R4. 8.2 supports flashing/recovering from slot 1 devices.

The R4 doesn't need any sort of modification, flashing or anything else. I let my sister borrow mine for a couple of days on a different DS. It's kinda like Swap Magic or HD Loader in that it does nothing to the system whatsoever, so it can't void warranties, etc.
Unlike Swap Magic or HD Loader though, you CAN take the games with the R4 online, and even single-cart and multi-cart multiplayer (ad-hoc) works.

I understand that, but my DS Lite was already flashed, and I just want to know if the R4 will work with the DS?
