I upgraded my memory from Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (1GB x 2) 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 DIMM (Kit of 2) to Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400C4 Matched Pairs 2GB kit (2x1GB) PC6400 DDR2-800 CL 4-4-4-12 240-pin Dual Channel Memory today. The computer was fine before, but now it won't boot. After pressing the start button, the computer just beeps(long)-beeps(short)-beeps(short). My motherboard is ASUS M2N-E, and it should support DDR2-800 memory. Anybody has an idea of why?

try using 1 stick of the old ram so you can get into the bios, then set the mem options so they are correct for your new ram (timings and voltage). then when you save your bios turn off your pc swap for the new ram and try again.

Thanks for the helps guys. That pair of memory turns out to be defective (very odd for memories). I exchanged for a new pair and they worked out fine.
