error writing the dvd. please help

i have a problem with my Asus DRW - 1608P3S . I am trying to burn dvd's and the burning goes until it should end.. then when the proccess is 100% a pop`up window come to front and telling me that The process has been started and then everything fails. And i am looking at the error and it says that "could not perform disc at once" .. i did few dvd's and the error did not occure but after i discared the dvd and put it back in the ROM and trying to read the dvd it says that G:/ is not accessible .incorect function
i hate this problem.. i hope you could help me with something.. i was thinking to format the primary partition.. what do you think.. thanks a lot

i'm not sure what this means i mean does it refear to the way dvd rw is pluged tot the hard drive? :-?
What are your burner's Jumper settings ?
master (and i have an asus cd-rw on slave)
What type of media are you using ?

What programs are you using ?
nero 6.0.0.9 (now it is updated to 6.6.1.15a)
Exactly where are you and what are you doing when your error occurs.
it apperd when i was burning a dvd with my movies (data dvd)

Way too fast, best to burn at half of the rated media speed
First i would try burning those disk at 8x, then 4x, if you still get burn errors try better media like verbatims or Taiyo Yuden
