I already posted this in another long discussion group but I'm hoping for a better reponse
if I try it on its own.

I have the Optorite DD0203 drive.I got some Fuji +RWs to try. I tried a data disc, I have some stuff I want on disc and off the HDD but not enough to fill a dvd, 1.8 gig. It writes aT 2.4X but I had nero do a data verify afterwards and it comes up with verification errors. I started the disc with Start multisession option. Do you think I should I start it as No multisession? I'm going to try it as no mulisession and see, but I don't think it will make a difference. I tried it several times and each time some file comes up with a verification error. Has anyone had any trouble with DVD multisession discs with this drive? Or multisession RWs with the Optorite? These are brand new Fujis so I wouldn't think it is the media, I know this dive is picky about cheap media but that's why I got Fuji. All the +R data discs I have written have worked and verified without any problems, it's only been the +RWs that are having the problems. Are RWs a little flakey? I wouldn't think so but you never know. Are the Fuji +RWs just not as good of quaility as their other products? Nero cdspeed says they are Ricoh discs, both Fuji and Ricoh I have heard are good quality discs to use with the Optorite.

Thanks

Here's the discs info from dvdinfo:

I had same problem with Optorite (2.16) and Fujifilm dvd+rw 2,4 x (Ricoh).
Burning ok but read errors even on burner.
I hope for some good new firmware ...

Make sure you are up to date with the firmware as this firmware update to 2.16 solved my +RW problem. I mostly now use DVD-R/RW so this is never a problem now anyway!

I re-flashed firmware to 2.16 and it seems to work better.
I try fujifilm dvd +rw 2,4X and no problem with burning and reading with others readers.
Also cdrw speed burning changes from 10x to 12x and no problem at all for burning at 12x!

During first flash to 2.16 an error message occured but flash seemed to success.
I think it was not really done.

During last flash no error message.

Thank you very much.
