dunno whethter this problem has been addressed, but when i try to install Half life 2 with CS:S it give me this pop up "could not initialize installation. system Dlls missing or C?

are you installing from the dvd included? i would shy away from doing so. register the game to a steam account and download it off the net. if that doesnt work, i would recommend giving vavle customer support a jingle.
