Still having trouble

Before last week I had no problems using and successfully copy/burning dvds using DVD-Shrink 3.2 and of coarse it was tied into Nero 6 to burn, but starting last week I can only copy/burn one DVD and then I must reboot my system to start another successfull burn, I had not added any new software or downloads to my PC this just started to be a never ending problem, I've searched all over the net for suggestions and ideas, I've read a few problems in this forum with simular troubles, I've tried the solutions and non haved worked, I have listed all the tried solutions and at the bottom I have copied in my error report.
I've, re-installed my OS, I've added Norton sec 2007, I've changed my Nero drive speed, Ive checked my IDE primary and secondary nothing has changed from previous useage. So if anyone has any other suggestions/solutions for me pleas please fill free to help.
. remember I can burn one dvd when I cut my system on, but it is impossible to do another with out shutting down my computer and cutting it back on...

Welcome to the forum. Below are the errors and things you need to change
1. Recorder: <SONY DVD RW DW-Q120A> Version: PYS1
You are 2 updates behind. Below is an update site you can use

2. You need to use better disks. Try Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden
Disc Manufacturer: ISSM - R02
Insert empty disc to write to.
(Medium in drive: unknown. Medium required by compilation: DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL.)
3. You must have Roxio installed. Roxio and Nero do not play correctly so I would suggest that you unistall Roxio totally

Uninstall your Nero with this clean tool

3. The drive is a little old as it came out in 2004. I really think the drive does not properly read the MID codes of the newer disks and thusly can not write the DVD properly. You might consider replacing the drive
