a quick look at the glossary section found in the above tab explains it all:
BIN/CUE images are CD-Images that come in both a .bin and .cue file. The .cue file just stores information on the bin file for the burning software. This CD Image type is one of the most used today and is very reliable.

"Cue-sheet files (*.cue) were originally designed for CDRWin but they are commonly used and combined with image files to have a feel for the track layout of the CD. Cue-sheet files (*.cue) are in fact text files (you can open them with any text editor). The actual CD data is always contained in a different file (*.bin, *.iso, ...)." (from ISOBuster help).

So what is the point of burning a .cue to a DVD? It should be a rather small file.

it's a CD image..... not a DVD image! so you need to burn on a CD! and I don't think the software will allow you to burn a CUE file onto a DVD.... it will always ask for a CD to be inserted to the burner..... unless you just want to burn the BIN and CUE files as DATA! and that won't be able to play on your player!

Nero Vision 4
Make DVD > DVD Video > Add Video Files
Choose "All Files" from "Files of Type", locate the .BIN file and open it.
Proceed to burn.

Another option would be to convert the cue/bin image to a cue/iso image using ISOBuster, and then burn this image using Nero Burning ROM > Burn image...

If you select 'all files' it allows it.
Something like TMPGEnc DVD Author with VOB files.

@Attar..... it will show the BIN file but you won't be able to add it, because.......... it's not a supported video file and it won't accept the bin file for processing for DVD video! it shows it (view it) but it won't allow it to be added!

well...... between version..... mine won't add bin and cue files for DVD burning! unless it's a data disk! so there lies the problem between versions and I can only assume that both were the same..... they must have made this addition to version 7 as compared to 6!

Please someone give me a simple answer.

I've got Nero 7 Ultra Edition
I've downloaded a film which is in .cue .bin format.

How do I burn the film onto a DVD, using Nero, so that it is comptatible to play on my DVD player? I have DVD+R discs and am using a fully compatible External DVD Re-Writer. The tutorials I have seen to let me do this tell me to burn the .cue file as an image as that will direct data from the .bin image. However, when I try and burn the .cue file as an image, it only lets me burn it as a CD, not a DVD. Help!
