Neither one worked. Using dvd shrink to take out the subtitles and nero to burn the files. When i put them in my computer they both show the audio and video folders but don't play. Can anyone help

Use anydvd and clone Dvd. it works well..

Are you only removing the subs?
I just popped in my copy of Scarface and using DVD Shrink I removed the subs only and got:

6,677MB or 47% compression - which is alot of compression.

You may want to give it a shot re-authoring with the main title only and no subs which should give you:

5,684MB or 23% compression - a bit better.

As I understand it, and someone please correct if I'm wrong, the more heavily you compress the more problems you may run into.

i backed up 2 fast 2 furious with DVD Shrink and Nero 5 and it works fine. More compression doesn't mean more problems, just that the video will look crappy. I compressed LOTR2 at 45% and it stills looks fine.

More compression will not lead to more probelsm, just worse picture quality. The figures you quoted; 47% to 23 % you will notice a massive difference in quality. For anything over 10-15% you really should use Deep ANalysis mode - it adds about 25mins onto the project
