Apologies if this question has been asked a million times but maybe someone could advise me why I am getting an illegal disk error.
Just bought a new spindle of DVD's (Verbatim 16x DVD-R) and now getting errors.
Here is my log.
Many Thanks in advance.

By what I can see your burner is getting old and there are no firmware updates available....seems like it doesnt like the newer type discs, what were you using prior to the Verbatims (which are top quality discs)

oh gee. I never pay much attention to the type/brand of disk really. Erm, previously I have used some ones called Mr.DVD. I just asked my dad to pick me some up and thats what he came back with - so more money down the drain I guess.

try using 8x disks instead of 16x disks. when burners get older and their support has diminished by no more firmware updates from the manufacturer because they want you to buy a new burner..... and you were successful in burning before, look at the disks you were burning and try to get more of those disks (if available).
