I would have to say Overnet is the best and the speeds with edonkey,emule and those others have to be adjusted right with the settings for your certain hookup.I also use the overnet bot which also works wonders.I connect quick and resume with no problems.If you go into your Network setting in Options and change the Mas Download Speed,Max Upload Speed,and Line Speed Down you will get faster downloads.They used to have a calculator off of www.edonkey2000.com not there anymore though.I changed the settings and runs faster the computer set default.

I"m about to download overnet and try it out, but i want to know something from you current onet users. Do you use the free one, or did you actualy pay for a p2p program (i certainly don't plan on paying for it)? BTW what's the dif between the GUI and Command line client versions?

I would say get the GUI since the GUI automatically connects you right when you open it up isntead of the command line client which you have to go through servers kinda like mirc in a way connect to a server and then look for files off of that server.

I use the overnet v0.52 but it is the pro version no ads.I also use Shadow v5.8.8 with UPnP 0.8.5b and they seem to be nice in my oppinion at least.I see alot of people talking about other bittorrent programs but I also have looked in all of them and they all have Shadow in there program just earlier builds of it though so in the long run Shadow would be the best bittorrent program to use for fastest speeds.Overnet would be the fastest between emule,and edonkey for me at least since I know a couple tweak tricks and so on along the way and even if I didn't use the tweaks and compared them overnet is still the best even with ads it still runs quicker then emule and edonkey which is pretty bad if you think about it.
