Does anyone know the best way to stop the lagging on Xbox live?

Can't. These issues are common. It all depends on the type of broadband connection the host and its users have. The game type and graphic rendering determines whether an active connection can keep up with a particular game.

You can stop yourself lagging by getting a faster broadband connection. But theres no way you can stop others from lagging.
