HI I JUST BROUGHT A NEW LAPTOP AND ITS WIRELSS. THEY SENT A PC CARD WITH IT BUT I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED A ROUTER AS WELL. NOW I HAVE ANOTHER LAPTOP THATS NOT WIRELSS AND I USE IT FOR THE INTERNET THROUGH MY CABLE TELEVISION PROVIDER. I TALKED WITH THEM AND THEY SAID THEY CAN COME AND INSTALL THE WIRELESS ROUTER AND EVERYTHING ELSE I NEED FOR 149.00. IS THERE ANOTHER WAY THAT LESS EXPENSIVE THAT I CAN USE TO CONNCET THIS WIRELSS COMPUTER TO THE INTERNET. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.

1 is to knockoff the caps lock as is a forum rule no no. can buy the wireless router yourself for as low as $34Can & hook it up to the cable modem. get linksys wireless.
