Pokemon Diamond Save Issue

I have a small issue with Pokemon diamond.
The game boots up perfectly and runs fine. note that when I patched it I had to use "force R/W" to get it working.

Anyway when I go ingame and try to save it tells me its saving data, then saving complete (or w/e it usually says) and it seems like its all good but the next time I boot up the game (after resetting my ds) it comes up with that lame professor asking me to re input my name and settings and there is no load menu?

Any Ideas on how I could fix this.
Using m3 perfect sd btw. and passcard 3.
Im guessing this might be because of an issue with the R/W force maybe but do not know how to go about fixing.

nothing is wrong with the gamesave, it's the rom. something is wrong with the rom. it happened to me before too. after i downloaded a new rom, it works flawless.
