Hi All:

Just got one of the subject DivX players and wonder if anyone else out there is experiencing this problem: I can't remove the "counter" on the screen during playback of any movie, commercial or not. I called tech support who informed me that it was a default thing and could not be removed.

You sure you are watching a Screener movie. They sometime have timers on the screen. Is it the same for all movies. I have 642 and it doesn't a counter on the screen unless I press a button on the remote to give me the time and counter setting that you see on the front display.
