i have just installed DMS4 E.Z.I. S.E. Pro ModChip to my V9 ps2 and im sure i did everything right till i tried to test with the tester that comes with the chip but then i gave the tester a few extra volts with a 12v adap insted of a 9v one so the tester didnt light but started smokin so i turn the thing of and i didnt any somke or anything come from the chip or the motherbord so i thought its juat the tester then i made sure everything on place then i closed the ps2 and tryed to see if it is workin but when i closed the ps2 and try to boot anything the power button goes from red to green then red again??!!no idea so i open the ps2 again to make sure im not missin anything and then i tried to boot a game while the ps2 open with everything connected and it worked!! so i tried a back up and it didnt work( i got the screen that says enter ps1 or ps2 disk)then i tried to upgrade the chip with a Third Party Flash(ToxicOS-0.41)like it said in the chip installation manual but that didnt work obviously since the ps2 dont read sht so i gave up and closed it back again and then tried one more time cuz i was so desperate and it didnt work but i found out that when i screw or just put that aluminum top on the motherbored the ps2 dont work.
hope anyone have any idea on what goin on and wether the chip is fine or not?
hope i didnt give you a headac with my lovly story but i thought i should cover everything.id rather just go fix this miss some where but i dont knw where to go i live oslo norway.
editing got the led panel to work but all the lights turns orange
