Hi veryone I need a little help here.
I've burned lots of stuff with Nero and like it a lot except that it takes so dam long, 90min per 2hr dvd on average. I just tried to burn a rather long movie (over 4hrs 1,394,972 kb .avi dvd rip) using Nero 7s' "Make a movie" so I could split it across 2 dvdr+ disks. Nero gave me no errors before it started burning, but when I played the movie, the video portion worked just fine and the audio came out all messed up. Spotty, hitching, just not working right at all. This is a first for me. I assumed since it's AC3 it shouldn't have been a problem. Maybe it's because I just dl'ed neros' newest upgrade for Nero 7, I don't know. I'll include the info file for the rip here so you can take a look at it and see if you can figure out what's going on and how I might fix this. I have another rip (see info file below) I need to burn as well (lost the original disks) so any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
P.S.allowed Nero to re-encode to NTSC. Newer player but older t.v. is why.

I'd be happy to put up a copy of the log file, except I can't find it. Never had to look at it till now. As for media type like I said before, DVD+R 4.7 gig, unless you wanted the brand name ? Thanks for the help, anything else I can tell you let me know and I'll try.

the only thing that stands out to me is bad bad media
Disc Manufacturer ID: CMC.MAG.
Media type ID: M01
try to get some verbatems or ty .
i have not check the firmware on your burner to see if its up to date.i am still learning that. it needs to be looked into.
i dont see any error codes in logs.
so i think you need to try some better media...
the cmc mags i have now have pixals and freezing and bolcheness during play back.bad media i can't say it enough

Try burning at a lower speed I have a Litey 1633 and I would not burn at that rate especially with Imation media.
