Problems transferring from Smart Ripper to DVD2AVI

Hi -

I have read the article on how to rip from Smart Ripper to DVD2AVI, then TMPGEnc. I ripped one DVD through the entire process and it worked successfully. I went in again a day later to rip a different DVD movie, and now it doesn't work. SmartRipper will download all of the files. When I enter DVD2AVI, it brings up the movie, but when I go to save the file, in the Statistics Window, the files takes about 2 minutes to download and nothing is saved in my folder/or the right format. The first movie took almost to 2 hours to save. The stats that I noticed between the two were one was a Audio Format of DD 3/2 384 and the other said DTS. My question is are certain DVD's not able to rip through this process? Why did one work, and not the other? I followed the steps correctly for both. Help! A quick reply would be greatly appreciated! :)
