Sorry TAPS but I can confirm what gozilla says.

I've searched around the internet for you and everywhere I look it points to your BIOS. Unfortunately though, I can't find a quick fix for you.

You may have to 'bite the bullet' and take it to an expert??

moved to correct forum.
that is fixable as i have done it before as the bios is messed up & needs to be reflashed(reprogrammed).
1: is your floppy drive ok?
2: do you have or can you get a win98 or winme boot disk?
3: will need 1 to 2 blank formatted disks.
4: what is the make & model# of the computer or motherboard?
5: read the motherboard manual if have 1 to read about updating the bios.
