DVR105 on Mac, Burns DVD-R, Fails to Burn CD-R

Using DVR105 on my Quicksilver Mac. Can burn DVDs great, but lately, in trying to burn data to CD-Rs, get "Illegal Request Sense Code 0x72, 0x03 session fixation error - incomplete trck in session, lead in or lead out failed to be written. Have noticed this in past weeks. Can burn audio CDs, not data CDs. I'm using the 1.33 RPC firmware, been doing so for months, not sure if that's the problem, but if is, not sure how to restore to OEM 1.33. Any suggestions?
