well ,as the title says ,my 282 gb partition is going crazy ,all the files are ok ,now if i move a folder from its place it becomes unaccessible also if i move a file from its place it becomes corrupted and undeleteable ,i tried chkdsk with no luck
any suggestions i have really important stuff on this partition so any non-destructive suggestions are welcome
i also have already lost 6gbs worth of data hope it stays that way until they are recovered

That sounds bizarre, I'd say Backup the data and reformat the drive, if it still acts odd, replace it.

It sounds like you may have a faulty drive to get so many obscure problems, I'd suggest backup what you can of the data and warranty the drive.

Not for mass data storage, just get well reviewed disk drives. In all these cases it will be the circuit boards causing the issue, not the magnetic data storage.
