hi all - i have been using Azureus @ work for over a year with fantastic results. I just got net @ my new home and all is fine, except for Azureus - after following all instructions re: portforwarding (all done and fine), firewalls (off and when on Az is in exceptions with all ports) etc

i get green smiles as NAT is fine but its stupidly slow - not even 1kbps!

(i have the same connection/ISP @ home but get 80-200kbps there)

i have:

WinXP (firewall off)
Belkin F5D7230-4 Wireless Router
Motorola Wireless Modem
All green smiles on torrents
Currently 150bps (not Kbps)
Have set up Static IP/DNS settings as directed on
Port Forwarding for the Belkin F5D7230-4

please help! i have been at this for 7hrs!

many thanks

What's the average swarm speed? How many seeders? Did you set up a TCP/UDP listening port between 42150 and 64000? (default is 6881)

i have the green smilies but its just so slow - less than 1kbps

If you haven't, try disabling UPnP: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/UPnP and enabling Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674

Saw this in another thread, might help: "1. Uninstall any versions of java, restart your computer and install the new java jre series.
2. Uninstall Azureus, restart your computer and make a fresh install of the latest release". Maybe, look to a different client if that doesn't help.
