Been happening a lot lately...Anyone else experiencing this problem?
Core 2 Duo E6600, 2 GB 667Mhz DDR2RAM, Asus P5B Deluxe, ATI AIW Radeon X1900 256, WD Raptor WD1500ADFD, Seagate 320 GB Barracuda 7200 16MB, Corsair HX 520W PSU, CL SoundBlaster Audigy 2, Lite On DVD-RW (2), Dell 2007WFP

I can't access it either... When they do maintenance they always have the maintenance screen up. That's not the case this time. Anyone else not able to access the Demonoid server???

I have Comcast and cannot access-"this page cannot be displayed"
My friend had mentioned to me that there was a post at demonoid where they believed Comcast, and possibly other ISP's, were blocking access.

I've been a member of Demonoid for over a year, but suddenly can't access the site. What's really strange is even though I can't get access, I'm still uploading and downloading a torrent from Demonoid, and Azureus says the tracker is "up".
Does anyone have any idea what's happening?

I just became are registered member of Demonoid and now I fear that after months of watching for open registration has gone in vain to think that they have lost my registration that took soooooo long to get! I hope that they come back bigger and better than ever and not lose any information about their registered members or losing Torrents! this is a great site and it would be a shame if anything happened to it to change it's status! I love Demonoid.com and miss it!

yep, I'm not buying the "techno" issues explaination either...it's been days not hours...it doesn't take days to upgrade harddrives and restore content from backup. But, members are still seeding and sharing is still going on. If the site is to continue...it will be up to the members to make available all the completed torrents...and re-seed everything.

I think if we really enjoy our p2p sites...we should learn to be much more discreet ...the mere posting of their site names, etc....creates much more "heat" for these sites...and lights them up on the Radar Screens of legal organizations and organizations dedicated to THEIR demise. So, like management here at Afterdawn has suggested....no invites....and maybe we should go one step more....no posting of links, site names or web addresses of p2p sites which will attract search engines? Together, Peers can promote these sites simply by "word of mouth" discreet E-mail or IM.

well after checking up on Demonoid today I was pleasantly surprised that the forum is up and running! and put to rest all the rumors of Demonoid being shut down! it's not shut down...... Quote:

Good Point! How would you know if it's the same group or RIAA, MPAA, or Interpol filling in (with their own little site)....setting back and gathering ISP'addresses, MAC codes, etc. Running a little sting.
There were some people who claimed: EarthStation 5 was a sting.
